Getting started
Start manually. Keep the meaning explicit.
No installation is required to use the framework. Begin with a scope whose evidence and consequences can be understood.
Templates support judgment; completing one does not activate a tool or permission.
A six-step practice
From intent to a reviewable decision.
Choose one bounded initiative
Name the people it should help, a human owner, and the decision you need to make.
Write the outcome and alternatives
Record the baseline—or a plan to establish it—uncertainty, resource ceilings, and stop conditions.
Make the initial decision
Document the selected option, authority, subject revision, evidence, dissent, and next review condition.
Define mandate and delegation
Separate responsibilities from permitted actions. State data access, targets, limits, expiry, and intervention.
Collect relevant observations
Use explicit definitions, observation windows, and evidence references. Keep unresolved results visible.
Review and adapt
Decide what changes, assign each follow-up, set the next review, and confirm control results separately.
Record discipline
Separate what sounds similar but means something different.
A recommendation is not a decision. A decision is not execution authority. A verified operation is not proof of customer value.
Outcome
The change that matters and to whom.
Decision
The authorized choice among alternatives.
Mandate
The accountable assignment and its purpose.
Delegation
The permitted discretion within limits.
Observation
A scoped claim with provenance and limitations.
Review
A comparison that informs—not activates—the next change.
